Life and AD&D
Life Insurance protects your loved ones financially if something happens to you. The RMR Group provides Group Term Life and AD&D Insurance to benefits-eligible employees through SunLife. This is an employer-paid benefit. All benefits-eligible employees are automatically enrolled.
Plan Details
- Life Benefit: 1x Basic Annual Earnings
- AD&D Benefit: 1x Basic Annual Earnings
- Maximum Benefit: $500,000
- Accelerated Death Benefit: 24 months, up to 75%; minimum of $5,000, maximum up to $500,000
Optional Life and AD&D
Employees may purchase Optional Life Insurance up to five times their salary to a maximum of $1 million in $10,000 increments through SunLife. Employees may also purchase Optional AD&D (accidental death and dismemberment) Insurance up to five times their salary to a maximum of $1 million in $10,000 increments. This benefit is not tied to the Optional Life and can be purchased independently. Employees who purchase coverage for themselves may also purchase coverage for their dependents.
